*Salty
like a damp sail
blowing in the wind,
you sometimes
wring yourself dry.
And when the tears
sprinkle droplets onto your face
and salts you more than the sea
the ebb and flow
comes in waves of heaviness
that blur eyes
until you are weak...
and finally
purged
of all things
held back
and never said
and never felt
and never admitted
and never allowing
because being human,
is wanting to float
and so,
you stand on shore
and wait
because you know that
inevitably
you´ll sink.
