Ukraine

On Wednesday, February 23rd, Russia invaded Ukraine from several boarders via land, air and sea. 

The reason? 

Putin wants Ukraine. Simple as that. 

He is also claiming that this is an act to "save" Ukraine from the Nazi's etc.

But all this is doing is causing destruction. Many people are protesting around the world from NY to Paris, All across Europe and even Russian. 

Ukrainians have fled the country and are still fleeing to neighboring countries especially Poland for safety. Some haven't been so lucky and are now in subway stations and bomb shelters for now.

President Biden has sanctioned against Russia--cutting off Putin from 2.5 Billion dollars. Other countries like Japan, France, and England have also sanctioned against Russia as well.

This will freeze monies for the Russian government, but also hurt Russian citizens--who are not to blame and most do not support the war.

So it is just a very harrowing and unnecessary situation.
