Ukraine pt. 2

It is day 5 of the Russian invasion on Ukraine.

Even though Ukraine is much smaller in size and population, the people have banded together and are fighting off Russia's big army...and they are being successful!

In response to this, Putin has put out high alert for nuclear attack, but the Ukranian President Zelensky or his people have not backed down.

International sanctions have also put the pressure on Russia and the Ruble's value has significantly dropped, along with the international central bank putting completely cutting off the country as well.

The long term concern is that all these sanctions will affect the rest of the world economy as well. So there is a hope that these sanctions will pressure Putin to pull out his troops and stop the war as his country will suffer the most because of it.

The most recent news is that there were 'talks' between Ukranian and Russian officials, but we still don't know what was the outcome of this meeting.

So as the world watches on and prays and sides with Ukraine, we are also watching for Putin's next move who has his finger on the nuclear trigger.
