Absorbing

 it´s painful

when no one knows

and you flash fake ass smile

and harbor real ass pain

it goes deeper inside

into that quiet vault within

and resides there

taking up space

making room

moving in permanently

and all you know is 

that ache

until it becomes normal

and a part of you

maybe even a friend.
