Panel Discussion

Today I was a Panelist for the Belize International Yoga Festival and our focus was, "Yoga during quarantine." We all spoke about tips and techniques we have used through out the pandemic to help us cope.

All the other panelists had really great suggestions of community building and creativity, and I added that I had done similar things, but added that I had taken a scientific approach by following Andrew Huberman's suggestion of getting sunlight every day and the double inhale and one exhale out the mouth. Both of these techniques will help one scientifically remain in a better mood; the former by increasing the hormone serotonin which boosts one's mood and the latter by calming the body immediately.

It was a great discussion and I was so honored and happy to be a part of it!

We're still going strong, as the festival ends in 2 hours, and we've been at it since six am!
