Broken wing

 What's the point of having a wing

if you cannot fly?

A butterfly

fuchsia pink

and gem decorated

flew away

but couldn't get far...

I watched it struggle

and land on a roof

still trapped in the same yard

it was trying to escape and go beyond

and I thought,

That butterfly is me.
