Critters

 Creeping 

and crawling

all around

and inside

remind us that pestilence

comes in as silent as the night

slipping right in front of you

and then 

it's dark

and you cannot see

what's moving around

so what moves within

amplifies 

and clidingly 

scrapes against your mind and body

until you crawl

and creep toward yourself

not making a sound.
