Martin Holmes

This man owned 66 people, the document says slaves.

They worked for him.
For free.

Not sure what he produced but I am betting on produce and cotton.

He was from Holmes County, Mississippi.

I found him because of my Great grandfather, Turner Holmes.

Mr. Martin either owned Mr. Turner or the latters' parents.

I am determined to find out everything:

who owned who and who they were
did they agree with slavery
were they mean spirited
were they assholes
nice
kind
who the hell are you
and why the hell did you go along with slavery
did you agree
do you think you are better
can't be, because you died-so your whiteness can't protect you from the truth.
