Off

So things feel slightly
uneasy...

The sun is out
but the shadowed clouds are circling,
and time jumped from 9..to 12...then to 2

And the wind isn't carrying it's usual company--
no birds chirping
no music blaring
no chatty neighbors

just an eerie
lingering
heavy quiet,

like when your neck and shoulders
are all knotted
and you don't know why
it just is...

unsettling.
