Wearing a face mask 

is a preventative safety measure; 

especially to protect oneself from Corona-
the invisible enemy
that ravages through our species,

but if you wear an internal mask
masquerading

to yourself

and others?

It slowly molds onto you

and morphs into
you...
and then

like a virus

it latches on

consuming
until
slowly
you are no longer.
