Hiding to Seek
A demon sat on my bed one night.
The silhouette of it's horns was stark.
It's massive body should've been heavy,
but it wasn't.
I should've been scared,
but I wasn't.
My legs were intertwined with its own
as we were
both present
simply sitting.
It's darkened face
didn't reveal eyes,
yet I gazed into them.
When?
It asked,
sadly,
pleadingly,
but I ignored it.
My silence made me invisible,
as I looked for the answer
in the dark.
