Heavy

My eyelids are closing

not due to sleepiness
or fatigue,

the weather is in the high 80's today

could be that,

not sure.

Perspiration
gleams on my skin,

as the four walls
seem to have inched in
a little
closer

as my shoulders
droop
from the weight
of my thoughts.
