Surrender

At some point we have to admit that we don't know...anything...

we don't really know what the next moment in life will bring.

We don't even know where we came from (before birth) 

and we don't know where we are going (after death)

we have theories

but until it is our personal experience

we don't know.

This Global Pause 

has allowed people to accept this uncertainty 

this unknowingness

and in that moment of accepting
our humanity

we put egos aside

we put pride aside

and accept
our mortality.

No one is immune to death...

and Covid19 is a reminder of this

and in seeing the reality the harsh truth
no distractions
no busy schedules
no mundane routine,
but time
to stay at home
and think,
now we see.

If we desire
the survival of our species,
we must act accordingly.
