Social Distancing
As the corona virus spreads and death tolls rise--Italy recently had a reported 475 deaths in 24 hours--world wide panic is taking hold. The panic is stemming from the fear of how long the self-isolation and quarantine will last and what that will mean for the overall safety of the human race.
The fear is based in whether our lives as we know it will drastically change for the worse. Therefore, panic is outpacing the virus and some people are responding out of pure fear.
It has also been reported from some news networks that people are buying guns and ammunition.
A relative based in Florida said a neighbor bragged, "I just bought a ton of guns for this Corona thing."
"Oh yeah, so you can find the Corona and shoot it down?"
This mentality of preparing for the absolute worse: mass war or mass hysteria that lead people to hurt each other is a very real concept as people buy guns.
The term *Social Distancing* was coined by the media to assist with the suppression of the virus, but distancing from menacing and pessimistic is also important for overall well being and safety.
