Why is the wind singing today?

A popular Bollywood ballad featured in Veer Zaara, a cinematic and musical masterpiece that shows the power of true love.

As I hummed the melodious tune, scenes of nature flooded my mind's eye: a hummingbird flitting about, an iguana laying on a tree branch and a butterfly's wings gliding across the tree tops.

Believe it or not, these scenes were not from the movie, but from what I beheld with my very own eyes.

"Oh my God, a hummingbird!" I fiddled with my phone and tried to snap photo, but I wasn't quick enough. It's as if it disappeared.

The butterfly, however, lazily fluttered about and posed a sweet profile of it's orange and black wings, and I got a nice snapshot--classic.

Why is the season raining colors?

The colors were always there, we just looked passed them yknow?

It's interesting, when things are busy and life was hectic, these questions aren't at the top of list because our attention was elsewhere. But now we have time and they linger in the luxurious imagination, mixed with panic and boredom.

Why is the moonlight in the day?

A romantic phrase said by a lover, who tells the world that you put the moon to shame.

It is so beautiful, until the songs asks:

Which way is life going?

Something we can all relate to...especially right now...

and all I can do is repeat the question and sing along..

Which way is life going?
